An Update

Hi...I know that I have not been posting in a while...But I have been really tired after school so I didn't take time to write about my days...It is now week four...So...The last post I posted was on Monday...Week three...Well...

Nothing really exciting happened...Over the last week I mean. We didn't have school last friday, I am done with my narritive in writing...And...I think that is it...

So I will write about today since I am here. There is an epedemic going through our classroom. And it wasn't like the lunch room thing...It is worse! Read ahead to find out...(By the by, today is tuesday, week four.)

Homeroom-I had to take a reading test thing-a-ma-bob...But it passed quickly.

1st hour-Our actually teacher got back. She is nicer then I thought...But I did have to rewrite my final copy of my narrative...I didn't like that..

2nd hour- We worked on functions...So yeah...Just a fun little review game.

Lunch-I am mad at One of my friends!!! She always sit at this other table and she never sits with me! Huh... >:/

Recess-Today was really hot today...I should have gone inside to watch the movie instead...The principal said that we are aloud to do that because of the heat advisory...But that is the time when I talk wit different friends...

3rd hour-We read books and...That is it. That reminds me...I still have some homework...I should really do that..

4th hour-We talked about...Uhh...I forget actually...Oh yeah! We watched a vid and did some vocab..

PEP-It was fun...I didn't talk with some old friends like usual...But we sorted these shapes...Well...Tried too. turns out that I was sorting them wrong...

Specials-We did a boys verses girls thing in music and the girls won!!!!!


By the by, everyone is getting sick!!! And I think I am next! I really hope i do not get sick...So yeah. That was the epedemic thingy...

Monday-Week three

Hello!!! I am glad to be able to right again!!! I was going to write some stuff on thursday and Friday..But my Dad doesn't have a computer. He gave it to the step witch in the devorce...But that is another story. Let me quickly catch you up on some important details...I do not know any actually...Well...I started another class today...Read ahead to find out more...


Homeroom-I went in and...Got ready to the other classes..And went on my way..

1st hour-I do not really like writing this year..I didn't like it last year either..All the teacher does is talk about her writing and then she lets us write...We also have to do more then one draft...I would have been publishing...But no! I had to write another draft and then someone els is supossed to edit that again...So I did that. I did not publish as you probly know by now...

2nd hour-I didn't really get a good grade on the math homework...Probably a C or B. A B is not really that bad...But I got 6 wrong out of 24 so I do not really know what that would rank as...And that is all we did. We talked about graphing and prealgerbra...(wich we did on thursday and friday)

Lunch-Was quite. I took this stuffed monkey to school to show one of my friends..You see, he had this monkey and I said that my monkey was better...Nvm...But the monkey did see these kids futer...

Recess-...The monkey told futers...He is a cruel capoochin...

3rd hour-We just read all period...

4th hour-We did this thing with the independent variable and the dependent variable...It was fun. Anways...Yeah

Interventions-This time will now be known as Pep! Pep is a class for...Umm...Kids that think differently then otheres. In a good way! I get to see...5 of my friends in that class!!! 4 of them everyday! It is cool. Today we did this thing..umm...they give you clues and you have to figure out who is who and stuff like that...

Specials-I had music today...We studied the notes and beats and stuff like that.And then I went home....

Monday-Week Two

Sorry I didn't update my blog on friday...I was just glad that the weekend was there and I just wanted to relaxe...So sorry about that...

Anyways...In reading I got to see who was in my literature study group and what book I got!!!! I guess nothing more exciting happened...But I hope you will read just because you enjoy it!!!

Homeroom-I got there turned in some paper, put my backpack away and got read for the long day ahead...

1st hour-We had a writing test!!! We were supossed to work on our narritives!!! Which reminds me that on...friday or thursday...I found out that we are only aloud to write 5 paragraphs! No less! NO more!!! Huh...I do not like that..But we were supossed to work on those anyways..So we had this writing test and the prompt was to right about what you would do if you could do anything for a day. I said host a radio show...

2nd hour-We did the probem of the day which was kind of tricky...But I figured it out eventually...And we talked about PEMDAS. The order of operation...It wasn't hard..For me anyways. I still remebered it from last year...

Lunch-The mac and cheese was so discusting!!! Normally it has no flavor..So it is not nasty..But this time it had a nasty flavor...Blech! Luckily my friend didn't eat her buger and let me have it...It is good to have friends...

Recess-I hung out with two of my friends...We just talked about things...And then we lined up...

3rd hour-I started reading "Old Yeller" because I keapt forgetting the book I was reading out home...But it is not a problem becaue I am now reading "The True Confessions of Charolett Doyle" It has a good hook...I think I will liek it...

4th hour-We watched another Scientific Method video and then continued to work on our Vocabualry doodles..

INterventions-I tutored some kids in math..Even though the didn't really listen or or pay attention and they just copied off of someone elses answers...Oh well..They can pretend to know it...And then get it wrong on a quize!!! I tried to help!

Specials-I forgot my flute...And we had band...So Mr.Mac just put us on the keyboards...It wasn't really fun..But it did pass the time...And then I went home!

Thursday-Week one

Hmm...Something exciting that happened today that will make you want to read ahead...Hmm...Oh yes!!!! Today at lunch a...phenominom...Or craze...swept though the lunch room!!! Read ahead to find out what it was!


Homeroom-We came in and turned in homework and things that we needed to sign and...Then we went on our way.

1st hour-we starting doing things with our compisition books. Or draft books as some people-like me- like to call them. We had to number 196 pages in our draft books..And that is pretty much all we did...Tomarrow we are starting our personal narritives...I am going to write about my step sibs and how they moved out over the summer...So I will start that tomarrow..I will post it on here when I am done with it if you want...

2nd hour-We did the problem of the day and another mad min thing. Addition this time...I probably got 70 out of one hundred finished in 2 mins...After that we reviewed divison and got our homework...

lunch-We had a chip bag popping palauza!!! first there was one pop...Then another...And another!!!!! It was very noisy...

Recess-I got to hang with my best bud today. It was fun....Espiecally because I didn't get to see her in band because we had to play with the same instrements, and she is a trumpet, and I am a flute...

3rd hour-We went in to reading and read a little...Then we did some vocabulary..And then more reading...It was actually a good book that we read. It was about a man who had to write basicly passports for all of these refugees so they could go somewhere where he Nazis couldn't get them....But he did it against his government...It is a good book...I forget what it is called though...

4th hour-We watched movie about the scientific method...And we did vocabualry..So nothing really exciting happened...

Interventions-I finsihed my homework and my sub folder...And then we went to specials...

Specials-I got to play a flute that worked!!! Well kinda works...The E is kinda...Funky...So we did that then went home and here I am now!!!

Wednesday, Week one

Well it is the third day of school and I still am not used to this new grade...I still feel like it is last year...Oh how I wish it was! Although today was a better day than the last two...Although I think a made a new enemey...OK Enemy is a little harsh but this kid did annoy me...Well you know how things work...Start reading!



Homeroom-As you know this is not the most exciting thing to read...We turned in some permish slips...And went on our way...



1st hour-In writing we worked on these fun little people...You see there were body parts (bodies, eyes, ears, hair, ect.) on paper and there were all diffrent kinds. We cut them out and make a person!!!!! I will see if I can put a picture of mine one here...Later of course!!! But tomarrow we are going to have to work hard because we were suposed to start school work today...So!



2nd hour-We had Mrs.Reed by the way in stead of Mrs. Miller...I do not think I mentioned that I have two teachers...They switch off everyweek...Well we have them for math...Anyway! We did the problem of the day that I got right even though I didn't completley understand it...Oh well!!! But I hate how you have to explain why the answer is right and the others are wrong...So after that we graded last nites homework wich we will not be aloud to usually do...I got a couple wrong...That I know of..I didn't have time to grade all of them...Then we did the mad min thing that we did yesterday only it was subtraction...For some reason I had a huge brain freeze...I only got one wrong which I Knew I got wrong but didn't have time to fix...But I was really slow for some reason...



lunch-Very entertaining actually...I sat at this guys table who was very loud...It was very funny. He was yelling across the room trying to get this one girls attnetion...Then he had to yell back what,and then the answer to the other guy who wanted the answer...I told him, "Why don't you just get a bullhorn???" (I think it is called a bullhorn...) That still probably wouldn't be loud enough...I also got to see this little boy who is a little friend. He is adorable...He is an old friends little brother...



Recess-I hung out with some old friends...That I can not name...Because I said that I wan't going to name any names of students...although I may have done that already...:/Oh yeah...I also kinda sorta started a rumor...Well my friend told me to tell someone too...So I didn't really...But then I found out that she said nevermind...So I will start a counter rumor that is the total opisite of the other rumor...So it will be a helping rumor...



3rd hour-we read...And did vocabulary...That is prettymuch it...Nothing exciting or anything like that...OH!!! And we also need to think of a book that we want to read in reading groups...I do not know which ones...We have to think of 3 though...



4th hour-I think science and social studies are the best classes...We are doing the scientific method and we got to do the whole process (well write down the steps and everything...) on colorful paper with pictures and crazy writing!!!! It was fun...Although this is where the "enemy" comes in...First, when we were getting our stuff, he says "Move tall person!" Of course I do not move...But I do not say anything either. And then he says to one of my friends "Move tall person!" she says, "No short peron." And then when I am getting my papers he says, "Hurry up and move!" I say. "UH...No..." And my other friend says "That is not a very good way to ask..." And he says somthing about her nose!! (Her is my friend) And then he expects me to let him use my pens!!! ugh!!!! But that was how class went...



Interventions-We decorated these folders that we use if our class gets split up because we do not have a sub...And we graded the mad min things...

Specials-We had music. We did this thing called what is music...And then we went home...

Tuesday, Week One

Like I did yesterday I will tell you what happened by the order that it happened...



HomeRoom-I went in got My stuff ready and left for the classes.



1st Hour-Incase you forgot, my first hour is writing. We pretty much did the same thing that we did yesterday. We finished the interveiw thing...But now that I think about it...I do not think I told you that yesterday...Well writing is mt first hour and we did this thing where you ask these questions and then you tell the class the answers..So we finished that today...

2nd hour-Again, math. Wich is with my Home Room teachers...We did stuff today. 1st we did this problem of the day thing and then we talked about how we need to get really good our multiplcation..Then we practiced our multiplcation and that was about it...Which reminds me that I still need to finish my math Homework...

Lunch-Did I tell you how early it is???well I didn't eat breakfast so I was hungry and ate most of my food. I had Big Daddy Pizza. It is a special kind of pizza and it is better than the normal school pizza that we had last year...But maybe it will become the normal pizza at the school...

Recess-I mostly hung out with my friend...She is bumbed out because this guy that said he would go out with her isn't talking to her...I will not say her name because she does not want other people to know and someone she doesn't want to know could read this blog...Oh and remeber the thing that I said might happen with one of my best friends??? I think it is happening...With this new girl...I do not like it one bit...Well she will still be mine in band and chourus!!! Mwahahahaha!!!!!!!

3rd hour-We continued to work on our little drawing things..I do not think I told you about that either...They are these little heads and books that we have to draw a face and title and everything on it...And we filled out this tiny work sheet...I also have to do this vocabulary thing...But it is only one word...So it is not that bad..Which I still have to work on...(By the way the class is reading..)

4th hour-Just FYI it is science this months and social studies the next. We watched a video on inventions...It was a nice movie...It gave me insperation to invent!!!So we are doing a "find a problem and solution" thing...No Homework in his class haza!!!!!

Interventions-I do not think I gave you a lot of details on this yesterday...But we presented the way the punishmet works...It was fun...I guess..

Specials-Today I had Band!!!! Wich means that I got to see some of my friends that I do not usually see...Although I do not know how I am going to get a new flute...

And that was the day for me...

Monday Week One (or first day of school)

Well today was the first day of school as you read in the title. It wasn't bad...But it wasn't good. I was quite lonley...Well...Not completley. I hung out with all of my old friends at recess. Mel, Jas, Emilio (Well...Kinda...He tried running...OH well..It was nice seeing him again..), and said hi to all the others. But during class...
I wasn't sitting next to anyone I knew except in the other classes. And we we weren't really aloud to talk...Except it Mr. Bartshe's class. Well I will tell you what happened in the order of my schedule...

Home Room-We walked in and teachers breifed us on morning procedures. Where backpacks go and all that good stuff...

1st hour-Writing is my favorite class. We have the nicest sub. Her name is Mrs. Cooper. She is less strict then the actual teacher...See we have her because our actual teacher had a child over the summer. She is taking care of it and what not...

2nd hour-Math is in my homeroom. So my teachers just told us everything...We would have math homework to work on in interventions...And we would just start general stuff...They also introduced the smart board to us!! It is so cool...It is like a giant touch screen!!!!! I will explain more of that later...

Lunch-It is the same as it has been for the past 5 years at our school. Get in line, get your lunch and sit down and eat. Although I wish you could sit wherever...But we do not do that..Unfortunetly..

Recess-Like I said, I visited with all my friends...And annoyed some..Then we lined up...

3rd-Reading we actually did something. We filled out a little info card...Read some tiny books, and did a little group activivty...

4th-Science and Social Studies was fun. We actually did some note taking...You see we have this cool rule where when the teacher is sitting down we get to talk!!!! It is cool...But we need this folder..I will incloud details l8ter...

Interventions-It is basicly a study hall...We did this thing to help us remeber the phase (Punishment) rules...we present what happens on that phase...And yadda yadda...

Specials-We had music. We just went over rules and talked about things that we did over the summer...Tomarrow we have PE...

And that is pretty much it...I will give details on everything tomarrow...

Meet the teacher Night (How it went)

Well...Tonight was the night that I found out what would be going on for the rest of the year...Well..what teacher I would have for the rest of the year...And I was not happy about the results.
I am fine with the teacher that I got...She is great!!!!! But it is the class mates that I got-Or didn't get- that bummed me out.
Hardley anyone from last year is in my class!!!!!!! And my worst fear (half of it anyways) came true. Melonie is in a different class!!!!! So is Jasmin!!!! And Segan!! And the rest of my friends!!!!
Ahmed is in a different class...Marcus....Kyle...Zoey...And the rest of my class!!!!! The only people from last year that are in my class are...Dietrick, Anthony...Jessica...And.........Yeah. THat is it. (Well, that I can think of right now)
There are also a lot of people I dislike in my class! Sadley I am not going to say names because there is a chance they might read this...But they are snobs and people I do not like...
Oh well...There are some people that I am friends with from previouse years that are in my class..So it won't be that bad...
The first day of school is on Monday so I will write more then...

Meet the Teach Night

Meet the teacher is is comming up. I can not wait for it! I will get to see all of my buddies from last year!!!!!! But one thing I dread is that I will not be in my Best friends class...I am also afriad that if I am not in her class that she will make new (and somehow) better friends...
I do not really think that that would happen with her...But I do fear that it might happen...
I can only wait until August 2nd, 2007 to find out if my fear has a chance of comming true...
I will write again on that day to tell you the details...Infact, I will keep you posted with everyday of school the best I can...
